Recap of the 31st SMM Hamburg – We Bring Innovation to the Trade Show Stage!
The 31st SMM was a true highlight for us at Siloco! As the leading global trade fair for the maritime industry, SMM brought together everything this year: the latest technologies, key future topics, and exciting conversations. Over 48,000 participants from more than 100 countries and over 2,200 exhibitors transformed Hamburg into a hub for maritime exchange – and we were right in the middle of it.
Our trade show presence – Impressing with modular solutions
We showcased our capabilities with 7 containers and 3 impressive exhibition stands – from high-quality VideoCubes to versatile exhibition offices and terraces. Our modular solutions adapted flexibly to the requirements of the fair, offering a combination of functionality and experience.
Berlin is buzzing with football fever, and we are right in the middle of it! On behalf of JP SPACES – Event Architecture Planning Office – we placed a VideoCube in the Fan Zone at the Reichstag for the UEFA Euro 2024. From June 14 to July 14, you could watch all 51 matches live – set against the impressive backdrop of the Reichstag building.
Scube361° event containers meet high-definition LED technology. With its enormous size of 238" (13.75m²) and an adjustable brightness of over 6000 cd/m², the LED screen of the VideoCube delivers a unique experience at corporate events, trade fairs, and public viewings. The advantages over simple LED screens include quick setup in just a few minutes, the ability to combine with other container elements, and additional storage space inside. The OMR Festival in Hamburg took place on May 7 and 8, 2024 – featuring conferences, expos, masterclasses, side events, live concerts, and parties.
This trade fair has become one of the most renowned events in the digital business and marketing world. It combines knowledge, inspiration, and expertise with entertainment. No surprise that the OMR Festival has been growing in popularity since 2011. This year, 70,000 marketing enthusiasts attended the event.
Aside from Kim Kardashian, the absolute highlight was, of course, our event containers. As in previous years, two VideoCubes on two counter containers were once again part of the show.
Of course, we were also present at Internorga 2024 with our versatile event containers, which impressed not only with their flexibility and design but also with their efficiency and sustainability.
In close collaboration with Hamburg Messe, we developed tailor-made concepts in advance, perfectly adapted to the needs of the trade fair and its exhibitors.
Thanks to their modular design, we were able to create impressive structures in no time. And even after the trade fair, the containers were dismantled just as quickly and efficiently—ready for their next use, always reusable and sustainable.
Around 3,000 visitors attended the Hamburg Coffee Festival 2024 at the Museum of Work. We spent weeks planning the setup, and over the weekend, we finally got to experience the results and the vibrant atmosphere of the HCF firsthand.
With our exhibition containers, we were once again able to provide a fast and ideal solution for the temporary needs of the event. The possibilities for use are practically limitless, which was reflected in the smaller village of kiosk and exhibition containers, the VideoCube, cash desk containers, and a stage made from a shipping container.
We are delighted to have once again been part of this special event this year.
The Polaris Expo 2023 in Hamburg was a fascinating event that attracted a diverse audience, including gamers, cosplayers, and technology enthusiasts. Among the highlights were the innovative space solutions from Scube361. The event containers served as charming tram stops, guiding visitors across the exhibition grounds.
A standout feature was the exhibition stand of renowned video game developer Capcom. Featuring a shipping container with a rooftop terrace, this space allowed attendees to not only explore the latest video games but also engage in conversations in a relaxed atmosphere. The seamless blend of meet-and-greets and a shared passion for gaming made Polaris 2023 an unforgettable experience for all participants.

Wir waren mit unserer Reihe der Eventcontainer SCUBE361° für unseren Kunden glo vor Ort.
Durch das Zeltdach war bei dem Aufbau nur wenig Platz für den Kran vorhanden. Doch das hinderte das Fachpersonal von Siloco nicht daran, einen atemberaubenden Messestand zu realisieren. Dieser bestand aus insgesamt acht Containern: 2x Dachterrasse mit 2x Treppen, einem Messebüro, einer überdachten Terrasse als Bar, einem Büro- und Seecontainer als Lager und Büro, sowie einem Showroom und HaloCube.

Due to the tented roof, there was little space for the crane. However, this did not stop the specialists from Siloco from realizing a breathtaking exhibition stand. This consisted of a total of eight containers: two rooftop terraces with two staircases, a trade fair office, a covered terrace as a bar, an office and shipping container as storage and office, as well as a showroom and HaloCube.

We were also part of the action once again with our event containers. Two VideoCubes, two Counter Containers, a Rooftop Terrace on an Office Container for technical support, and our HaloCube on the Showroom were all present at the festival.
At Photopia, held from October 13 to 16, 2022, in Hamburg, the fascination of photography, video, and other imaging technologies was once again brought closer to a broad audience.
In 2022, numerous event containers enhanced the atmosphere of the trade fair. A total of 19 event containers were rented by our partner, Hamburg Messe.
Specifically, a VideoCube was stacked on four shipping containers, while a HaloCube and a Showroom were used for the podcast section. Additionally, three Rooftop Terraces provided a unique shooting location for testing various lenses and cameras from different manufacturers. The Stage and Tunnel Containers, as well as the Kiosk and Counter Containers, complemented the event stands perfectly.
From September 6 to 9, 2022, visitors from all over the world gained a comprehensive overview of innovations in the maritime sector at the 30th SMM.
Among the highlights were our Exhibition Office and one of our many Counter Containers.
Positioned less than 10 meters apart, these two eye-catchers welcomed visitors—whether they were in the mood for delicious cocktails or engaging customer conversations.
In addition to the exhibition office, we also provided equipment from our rental park for support. This included the Banner Tensioning System, an Indoor Lounge Couch, Outdoor Rattan Furniture for seating, a 40-inch TV for presentations, a Glass-Door Refrigerator, an Air Purifier, and an Outdoor Kitchen with a gas grill for delicious barbecue specialties.
We look back on two successful days at OMR22: 70,000 visitors, 800+ speakers, over 1,000 partners and exhibitors, 250 masterclasses, the OMR conference, the two new events Future Moves and Finance Forward, as well as numerous concerts and performances.

Im Februar 2020 fand das Hamburg Coffee Festival 2020 statt. Unsere Tresen- und Kioskcontainer schufen nach wochenlanger Planung ein gemütliches Village für Kaffee Liebhaber auf dem Platz vor dem Museum der Arbeit.
Auch unsere Kassencontainer waren im Einsatz und begrüßten die Besucher mit Hilfe unseres VideoCubes, der Aussteller und Videos von Kaffeekreationen auf seinem LED Screen präsentieren durfte. Wir freuen uns, ein Teil dieser tollen Veranstaltung gewesen zu sein.
In February 2020, the Hamburg Coffee Festival took place. After weeks of planning, our Counter and Kiosk Containers created a cozy village for coffee lovers in the square in front of the Museum of Work.
Our Cash Desk Containers were also in use, welcoming visitors with the help of our VideoCube, which showcased exhibitors and videos of coffee creations on its LED screen.
We are delighted to have been part of this fantastic event.
At the first gaming event in the Hanseatic city of Hamburg, we were, of course, also present. As a sponsor, we placed our VideoCube right next to the main stage to showcase image videos of individual exhibitors.
Additionally, we used our HaloCube to broadcast various live streams of selected e-sports players directly at the event.
At the largest trade fair for construction machinery, we had the opportunity to equip the construction machinery manufacturer BOBCAT with our exhibition equipment. This allowed their new electric construction machine to be showcased perfectly. Visitors could admire it directly in the Showroom.
Thanks to the HaloCube above the Showroom, key information about the machine was quickly displayed, attracting attention even from a distance. Additionally, our VideoCube was placed right at the entrance of the trade fair to give visitors a first glimpse into BOBCAT’s product range.
At Nordbau 2019 in Neumünster, the in-house trade fair of SILOCO GmbH & Co. KG, we provided our successful exhibition combination, including a Exhibition Office, Covered Terrace, and VideoCube. This combination allowed SILOCO to perfectly present their promotional videos, even under extreme sunlight.
Additionally, our Showroom, together with the HaloCube, was perfectly utilized to showcase the small electric construction machines for indoor applications. For a special customer evening, we also provided an Outdoor Kitchen, which allowed the evening to be concluded with a delicious barbecue.
